For Professional Advisers

We have a great deal of experience in helping clients introduced to us by lawyers and accountants and understand the importance of enhancing your client relationships with supportive financial planning. Our financial planners are here to supplement the confidence your clients have in your abilities and we will work with you to ensure your clients expectations are met in full.

As well as being able to offer financial advice to both those in professional practices and their clients (see "Individuals" and "Businesses" sections), we also offer financial advice in the following specific areas:

Pensions and Divorce

Our financial planners have in-depth knowledge of the pensions market place, and prior to a divorce settlement we can help you and your clients understand the true "value" of pension benefits, especially final salary pension plans.

Following settlement, we are able to provide financial advice either on the investment of a pension credit, or on how to rebuild a pension investment following a debit.

Trustee Investments and Review

Trustees have a number of responsibilities following the Trustee Act 2000, including the need to keep investments under review, consider appropriate diversification, consider suitability of investments to the individual trust and the need to seek professional advice from a suitably qualified financial adviser.

With our own in-depth knowledge of financial planning and with access to the specialist discretionary management services of our parent Killik & Co, we are able to provide a comprehensive range of investment services to trustees.

We are also able to provide an independent, fixed-cost review of your processes to ensure that you are meeting your obligations under the Act.
